Ole Soccer Nutrition and Wellness Program

Nutrition and sports go hand in hand. We provide healthy snacks at our trainings and soccer games to increase awareness on top notch performance. Our Nutrition Coach and Natural Chef bring a variety of fruits, infused waters and natural granola. It is well known that if your body is not properly fed, there is no way you can expect the body and mind to perform at its highest level. We educate parents and players on the nutrients your body needs and the alternatives to healthier cooking and eating. In addition, we share nutrition blogs and a monthly newsletter with recipes, nutritional facts and a listing of local farmer’s market locations for parents and players. Our Nutrition Coach and Natural Chef organize monthly challenges such as: No Soda Challenge and Drink More H2O Challenge and the response has been phenomenal.

There has been studies proving that we can reverse certain diseases and avoid medication just by changing our “lifestyle.”  If you do not believe this, please check out the story on our very own Coach Carlos.

Big companies know that if you target kids at an early age with the sugary products, they will have longtime customers.

Olé is changing habits and most recently had a #NoSodaJuly challenge where we challenged players and families to NOT drink soda for the entire month of July!  The results were so amazing! Our players and families saw a big difference and would tell the coaches how they are choosing, voluntarily to drink more water.

We had one parent come up to Coach Walter and thank him personally, she said that because of the challenge, her son now only drinks water and REFUSES to drink any soda whatsoever!

Coach Jasmine & Adam

“Our planetary problems are perilous and profound. The U.S. is the most prosperous nation on Earth, yet we have never been more unhealthy. The standard American diet isn’t just making us sick. And it isn’t just inefficient —it’s outdated tech.”    – Rich Roll

Olé Soccer community would like to invite your family to watch the amazing and eye opening documentary, Fed Up.  This documentary will not only make you more aware of the reality of the situation here in the United States but hopefully see why we are so passionate about bringing about the change needed to our communities.
